Business Development Specialist – Property Management
Location: Santa Rosa, Ca (Remote/Hybrid Possible)

To support our continued expansion, we're seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist—a “hired gun” who can actively source and convert new business opportunities.
Job Overview
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and reaching out to property owners, landlords, and real estate investors who may benefit from our property management services. This role requires someone who is resourceful, aggressive, and highly knowledgeable about finding accurate property ownership information. If you thrive on closing deals and know the best ways to uncover leads, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential property management clients, including individual investors, landlords, and real estate owners.
- Utilize skip-tracing tools, real estate databases, and public records to track down property owner contact information.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and targeted marketing.
- Relationship Building & Sales:
- Conduct outreach to property owners, present our services, and convert leads into signed contracts.
- Educate property owners on the benefits of professional management and address any objections.
- Develop partnerships with real estate agents, brokers, and other industry professionals to generate referrals.
- Market Research & Strategy:
- Stay up to date on local real estate trends, rental market conditions, and investment opportunities.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies based on performance and feedback.
- Work closely with leadership to develop business development plans and revenue targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or real estate lead generation.
- Strong knowledge of skip tracing techniques and tools such as PropStream, Reonomy, TLOxp, Skip Genie, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with property records, tax assessor websites, and MLS databases to locate ownership details.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and able to work independently.
- Experience in real estate, property management, or a related field is highly preferred.
