A little about me and super excited!!!

Currently I am a first responder firefighter/EMT. I have never bought a house before currently renting. But as everyone knows we don’t make much for the job we do. I have a beautiful wife with 2 beautiful daughters and my newborn son. Looking to create an opportunity for them as well as financial freedom for both me and my wife so we don’t miss out on important moments in their lives. Cut out the typical 9-5 well for me it’s 48-96 but also give us a security. I have alway been passionate about real estate as I use to own my own property maintenance company but I was always to scared to actually pull the trigger because I always feel like I don’t know enough or have the right support.  I am afraid to let my family down as my children look to me for guidance. Looking for any and everything that this community/program can provide and even possibly a mentor to help me make the big scary first step. Can’t wait for what’s to come!!!!

Welcome to the BP forum and sounds like your pretty much ready to jump into REI. Being a Firefighter is a plus there as programs for Firefighters and first responders to help buy homes. Many states offer 100% financing for first responders to buy primary homes and you can basically pull cash out of a primary home to buy investment properties.

You have a great schedule for real estate having a day or two here and there to devote to REI is perfect to start building your REI portfolio.
