Looking for Great contractors in chicago northwest neighborhoods

Brij Patel
Posted

Hi,

We are new to the investing community in Chicago and are planning on closing on a 2-4 unit property in the northwestern neighborhoods in Chicago and were looking to get recommendations for good investor friendly general contractors as well as subcontractors for rehabs for the property. This would be for more a cosmetic rehab involving flooring, kitchen/bathroom remodel, painting and not necessarily a full gut rehab. Any and all advice appreciated!

Thanks

Hi there,

Congrats on your upcoming purchase! For a cosmetic rehab in Chicago, networking is key. Local real estate meetups or REIA groups are great places to find investor-friendly contractors.

Make sure to get multiple bids, check references, and put everything in writing to keep your project on track. If you’d like, I can share some names or connections to help you get started. Good luck with your rehab!
