Seeking contractor for cosmetic updates to MF home

Hi,

I'm an out of state investor who just acquired a quadplex in Eastpointe. Seeking a contractor to perform cosmetic work on my current property as well as to work with on future flips/BRRRs in the area. Strong preference for working with contractors with out of state clients, who I would like to reach out to as references. The addition to my team will be analytical, strategic and make a good addition to a team that is looking to grow aggressively into the Detroit/Eastpointe markets.

@Tatenda Mpofu you are unlikely to find a contractor here as they really don't join BP.

Also, not many investors will share their contractors for fear of losing access to them (i.e. You keep them too busy).

If you are local, suggest hanging out at a Home Depot, 6-8am on a Saturday. The contractors working on a Saturday are the guys you want.

Otherwise, you can try joining Facebook Group Metro Detroit Real Estate Investors. There are a ton of contractors there, you just have to be careful as it seems each month a few are banned for scamming members. Also, be careful of the negativity on some of the posts.
