Does anyone actualy go to the LA REI Club Meetups?

Has anyone actually gone to the Real Estate Club/Association meetups in Los Angeles? I tried looking them up and I'm not sure if it's the best place to network?

If you have any other suggestions, I'm looking to network with experienced flippers and hopefully find someone who may be not be super into the design part of rehab. I don't have the capital to do a flip by myself yet, but I'd like to partner with someone who's looking for someone to pretty much design their projects.
