Lender for Fire Damaged Property - 38107 "Avalon"

Melanie Murphy
Posted

I am looking for a lender that deals with fire damage. I closed in cash for a property with fire damage on Oct 10. I was set to do delayed financing with LimaOne, but they never questioned me on the type of damage to the property. Now that they know a fire has taken place, the underwriting has tightened significantly.

Purchase Price: $78,700

Renovation: $60,900 (includes $10K contingency)

ARV: $185 K (3 bed 1 bath sold up the street for $205K)
