New Investor in Evansville, IN - Seeking Guidance and Mentorship

Hi BiggerPockets Community,

My name is Jack Mattingly, and I’m new to real estate investing and to the BiggerPockets Forums. I’ve recently decided to pursue this path after reading Set For Life by Scott Trench and The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner and gaining a desire for passive income and knowledge in a new area of expertise. I currently work full-time, but I’m committed to learning and investing in real estate on the side.

I’m based in Evansville, IN, and currently am fascinated with rental properties but am more than eager to explore any and all options. I’m hoping to connect with investors who may have also begun in an unsure place or with anyone who has experience in real estate and is looking to share.

If anyone is open to sharing advice, resources, or mentorship, I would greatly appreciate it. I’m ready to put in the work and excited to be a part of this community!
