Networking through contracting! Looking for renovation jobs

I am new to the real estate investing journey but want to start networking asap. I am looking for other investors in the area that need help with contractor type work. I am willing to work for pretty cheap and/or free depending on the circumstance, but really I just want to start networking with other investors! I figured I might as well make some cash on the side by helping out with some of the dirty work on houses being flipped or renovated. If anyone has recommendations (apps, forums, etc.) please let me know!
