How to find deals in the DMV

Hello everyone,

I am looking for deals in the area and wanted to know if there was some secret to finding the right people. I have come across investorlift, which is the best thing I have found so far (if that say anything). Also trying to go through facebook groups and I just see so much spam on there. Not many meetups either. I am pretty new to this, so thanks in advanced!
