Looking For A Reputable Lawyer To Negotiate With Contractor For A Refund

Dear all, 

Some time ago I hired a contractor, who, as I discovered later was using someone else's license.  A lot of mistakes were made.  He did a demo without pulling permits, ect.  I paid him a considerable amount of  money.  I need to  hire a solid attorney who could help me recover the funds. I would be grateful for a recommendation of a good lawyer who we can hire to help. Thank you.
