Accountant for out-of-state investing NJ/OH

Hi Everyone,

I live in NJ (Monmouth County) and have purchased my first 2 income properties in Ohio.

I am looking for an accountant that specializes in real estate investing. Should they be from the state where I am investing (OH) or the state where I live (NJ)? Or does it matter?

I appreciate your input/recommendations.
