Looking for mentors, teammates, partners & info for Tampa-St.Pete-Clearwater Area

Hi, 

My partner and I are looking to begin our REI journey by investing in single-family or small multi-family (duplex or triplex) in the Tampa-St.Pete-Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area. We are looking for more information to pinpoint small areas within that metropolitan area to set a more precise target location.

We are also looking to find mentors, lenders, real estate agents, property mangers, contractors etc. to establish a trustworthy and dedicated team. 

A little about us: I am an Attorney is Missouri. My partner works in the boating industry. Neither of us have direct REI experience. We are both intending to relocate to Florida in about 3 years. In preparation of the move, we are looking to begin our REI journey now in Florida.

I had to answer. I moved to the Tampa area in 96, but I lived in STL and Columbia, MO before moving here. There are aspects of "home" I miss, but this has become home. I own a mortgage company based in Tampa, but we also have owned a real estate investment/development firm for the past 15 years or so. We look forward to having you as part of our community.
