Recs for mortgage brokers / lenders and agents

First time home buyer looking for a primary residence property somewhere between Portland, Oregon and Tacoma, Washington to househack—preferably a 2-3 bedroom house with a detached in-law unit.

Just starting to listen to podcasts and do research on real estate investing and househacking, and seems like my first step is getting pre approved for a loan and finding a relator with relevant experience to help me with my search.

Any recommendations for stellar lenders / mortgage brokers (are those the same thing?), and/or realtors between Portland and Tacoma?
