New Investor looking for mentor/partner

Vendela Frank
Posted

Hi everyone,

My name is Vendela and I am a 24 year old who is moving to Summerville, SC this summer. I was in the process of buying a house as my first investment property (250K, in DD2, very walkable, newly renovated, etc) but ultimately decided that I 1. Wanted to save a little more money towards a better down payment and 2. Wanted to do more homework on the housing market in Charleston and the surrounding areas. I would love to work with a more experienced investor in the Charleston area and would also be willing to potentially partner on an investment (I understand that the likelihood of this happening now is slim due to me being new to the game, but just throwing it out there). I have done a fair bit of research but feel that I could greatly benefit from a mentorship so that I can better understand when and where to invest.

On a completely different topic, I'm also interested in learning more about REITs as this might be good for me to get my feet wet, so any advice on whether these are good investments would also be helpful.

I look forward to chatting further!
