Looking for job

Jared Demkowicz
Posted

Hello all, I've already got my first rental property but I want to get full time employment as a financial underwriter in the Detroit area or Tennessee preferably.  If you know anyone that is looking to hire an underwriter or have suggestions of where to start out I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks!

Quote from @Adrienne Green:

@Jared Demkowicz I'd say reach out to local banks and credit unions.  Here in TN we have FirstBank, TVFCU, and Collegedale Credit Union off the top of my head. @Austin Jameson is a local commercial lender who may know of underwriter opportunities.

I will note that with mortgage volume's decrease over the last 9 months, many lenders have laid off underwriters.  It may be a competitive field right now.

@Jared Demkowicz  Send me a PM if you are interested in the Chattanooga area. Would love to learn more about what you are looking for. Thanks!
