Inherited property, should I transfer to LLC?
My wife inherited a property with tenants. She has already collected rent into her personal bank account. We have a LLC we use to buy rentals. Should we transfer her new property to our LLC?
I want to make sure we don't pierce the veil of our LLC, if I'm using that term correctly. We live in NY and the property is in NY if that matters.
