Does owning rental properties interfere with unemployment?

I work in construction and occasionally am laid off during winter months and collect unemployment. Would owning cash flowing rentals cause me to be ineligible for unemployment?

The goal is to replace my W-2 income but while I’m just starting out and only have one or two properties, that cash flow would be way less than unemployment.

Just looking for the answer now to be prepared when that time comes and either I have to make sure I’m good on my own with reserves or things will go smoother by still being able to collect unemployment.
