Real Estate Excise Tax Affidavit

Tyler J Sabin
Posted

Hey Everyone, I am currently transferring my duplex after one year into my self managed LLC and out of my personal name. I live in Washington State and have never had to do this before. Alot of the questions on the affidavit seem tax related, and some seem like legal jargon. Should I work with my accountant or lawyer on this? I'm following the instructions sheet, but I don't want to mess this up if its significant. Perhaps its NOT significant since I'm not really selling the property, just transferring the title. Let me know what you guys think
