New to Business with a “New” Business
My name is Sean and I have a “new” product idea that is similar to a current product being widely used. I work in the agriculture industry in the Central Valley in California and have an idea to improve upon and sell a piece of rodent control equipment with my name on it. What I don’t know, is the legal side of this. At what point would my product be TOO alike to the current product? What would I have to do to avoid likeness lawsuits? What do I need to know before pursuing this venture?
