lease Agreement in CA during COVID
Is there anything I can do or put in the lease agreement that can protect me from my tenant defaulting on their rent during COVID.
Hey guys, I'm starting out on my investing journey this year and have decided to make some moves to get to my goals a little faster. One of those moves is renting out my current residence and moving in with the in-laws (sigh) to save up some money for another rental property. I have some concerns about the current situation in CA with COVID. Since I am entering into this agreement during this COVID crisis and not before, can I establish some sort of understanding that the renter acknowledges the risk and is liable for the rent in all cases?
