SIDRA Custodian Recomendations
I know of Quest, but their fees seem high to me.
Has anyone here used Equity Trust out of Ohio or NuView Trust out of Florida or AmericanIRA out of Ashville, NC.
or maybe there are others too.
What do you think of the fees? How satisfied are you with the service/restrictions.

You'd be better off with a self directed IRA with checkbook control or even better a solo 401k.
The ones you mentioned have fees for most everything.
Do some research and see what you think.
My self directed IRA owns rental houses. A local bank holds my IRA money. Tenants deposit the rent right into my IRA account. If something needs repair, someone goes to fix it and I right them a check out of my IRA account. All with no fees. I pay a $300 maintenance fee to my custodian who reports assets to the IRS.
A solo 401k is even better. Their is no custodian other than you. You don't report anything to the IRS for assets under 250k. I pay the company that set mine up $100/year to get me informed of any changes in the law.
