Looking for Real Estate Attorney recommendations in California

Julie Martynyuk
Posted

I am looking for a real estate attorney and possibly a CPA in California. If they are in the Bay Area, that's even better, but I'd at least like to find someone familiar with California laws (since there's a lot of them) and real estate investing. I'd like to learn how to better structure our business for future growth. We currently have one LLC since it was required for a short term rental, but we'd like to buy properties in other States. Any recommendations are appreciated!! I've tried searching online and called several attorneys, but they didn't seem like the right fit.

Thank you @Michael Plaks! I will look into your suggestions!

@Bill Hampton, I am open to working with a lawyer or tax professional remotely. However, I want to make sure they're licensed in the State of California and very familiar with California's laws. I found that with most things California is much more challenging than other states, and I just want to make sure I'm receiving the most appropriate advice. I currently work with an accountant throughout the year, so I have guidance on financial decisions. However, I've found that he is unable to provide tax planning or bigger picture advice which would help us plan longer term decisions.
