Shooting Near Property

I have a somewhat unusual situation. I have a couple of properties in a relatively new middle class neighborhood (started building out in 2005, finished up in 2015, I bought my properties in the 2008 to 2011 time frame).

The neighborhood has been very uneventful (which is just the way I like it). However a new bad actor tenant at a different property (not my property) has brought some trouble to town.

Long story short, the bad actor tenant has been involved in a number of unwanted activities including a party a couple of weeks ago that got way out of hand and a shooting occured (at least 20 to 30 rounds fired and recorded by various security cameras).

A couple of errant bullets struck one of my properties, and my tenants vehicles. Both the property and vehicles sustained damage, not huge damage and my tenants weren't hurt. However there will be material cost to repair.

My questions are:

1) Bad actor tenant apparently has renters insurance, can I approach that insurance company directly WITHOUT going through my insurer.

2) There is also a property management company that placed the bad actor tenant. Is it worth contacting them as well, again WITHOUT going through my insurer?

3) Owner of property is presumably working as fast as possible to get tenant evicted. Does the owner have liability here?

4) I would really prefer not to have my insurer involved as I don't want to draw attention to this event as I see it as an outlier, but my insurer might see it differently and adjust my risk rating for something I had no control over and is likely never to occur again. Do I need to be concerned or should I just turn it over to my insurer?

Thanks
