Legal Risks of Real Estate Investing Remotely
Hey Everyone, I've started to build my team (Property Manager, Contractors, CPA) & I've started to wonder if it's worth it to speak with an attorney & make sure I am protected. I live in NJ but invest in Missouri where I know nothing about their regulations. Does anyone have an attorney on call at all times or does that seem like an expense that isn't needed? I've only got 2 properties & both are under my name. I'm also considering opening an LLC for them which I imagine brings some more complications into the mix. Any insight or experience is appreciated!
