Backed out of new build, put an offer on another
Hello, I am in the process of a new build in Colorado. As the lot has developed I have fallen out of love with the property and I have sent a letter to terminate my contract with the builder. The builder stated that it would take weeks to a month to process the cancellation. My question is, what if I want to put an offer on a different house before the contract is actually terminated, would I be in serious trouble (legally) with the builder?
