Platted road issue, who owns a platted road from a block
I purchased a piece of property with a platted dirt road in shape like a T that ran through the block in which my property is in. The bottom top of the left side of the T is where my property is located and I own half of the left side. My other two neighbors own the other properties in the block. One neighbor was very upset when I purchased that property that he decided to plow it so I won’t enter my property. I kindly showed him the survey that I received from the county clerks office which shows a 30 feet road leading from the highway “bottom of the T” all the way to the top of the T. His remarks were that the road runs between his property so the road belongs to him. I clearly showed him from the survey again that he owns the properties nexts to the road. Clarifying that he owns property from the bottom half from the left side of the T and the top half from the right side of the T. After I told him that then he said that road is abandon and I told him no that I spoke to the commissioner from that Precinct and told me that road is not abandon. I try to be neighborly and reason with him but he still won’t unplowed the road. Since that road was never given to the city since it was a road placed there in that block so that when the property was subdivided even would have a way of accessing their property can get in. I don’t know what to do now.
