Quitclaim Deed from the City

I am looking to put in a bid on a property that the city “owns”. However, as I'm going through the process of putting in the bid, I noticed it has to be a quitclaim deed. Is that common for purchasing property off the city? I have purchased plenty of other properties, but not from the city before. Should I be worried that it doesn't have the same safety that a warranty deed does? Or is that how they always do it?  Thanks
