Deal gone bad in MX
Mexican real estate deal gone bad in San Felipe. Need a Lawyer ASAP to counsel me. Please any help would be appreciated.
Developer did not satisfy his requirement to get all the completion bonds in place as stated on contract in order to trigger us sending additional money. As a result they are demanding we get out of the deal without any negotiations being available to us, even though it looks like they breached the contract. They will take 6k in liquidated damages if we get out NOW. We were early investors in this deal and now they want us out. It appears they can do things different down there.....we have NO right.
Thanks,
Karen
