Partnering btwn SD-IRA and your Cash in Equity Trust?
I went to a seminar held by Equity Trust yesterday which was very comprehensive and I picked up some New Info about buying a property with money combined btwn your SD-IRA & your Cash. I have traditional IRA in Equity Trust since 2016, and mostly it has been doing well (there were some glitches I had to figure out...). Have anyone done this type of deal? Can you please share how well it went vs. any pitfalls to avoid?

They don't "know". There is no black and white yes/no on this topic from the tax code or case law.
They are big because they are good at marketing. They are selling an interpretation. They have zero liability if you make a mistake, and they cover their backsides with good disclaimers and assertions that you should consult with your own attorney.
