Evition process before COVID19

Orly Luzon
Posted

I have a property rented for more than 4 years with a tenant who had paid very well during that time, but one day she got sick and told me that her daughter was going to take care of the payments while she recovered. Now the lady does not live in the house and dissapeared while her daughter is living in the property without paying rent since January 2020. I started an eviction process but it is on hold because of the COVID19. Besides this, can I do anything else taking in consideration that the original.tenant is missing and the daughter is not in the rental.agreement? Any legal advise? What I can do? She is not willing to pay and have the house like an indigent is living there. Thanks
