Using a service as consideration (instead of cash)
John Schaub says that considerations don't have to be in the form of cash; they can be a service. He says if you're optioning a property, you may want to make your consideration an "initial house cleaning" or some other very minor service/repair to the property.
Can this really be done? Are there any drawbacks?
