Capital Gains calculation

Hi everyone,

I am looking to get a CPA to help me calculate how much capital gains I will owe on a property that has already been sold. I live in Canada and sold the property which was located in the U.S., and want to transfer the proceeds to Canada. However, I want to leave enough behind in the U.S. to be able to pay the capital gains when tax season comes around. So I would like to try and get an estimate of how much to leave behind. Let me know if anyone has time to help! Please PM or reply here and I will PM, as there is some personal information involved that I would like to keep off the forums.

Thank you!
