Filing Taxes with Newly Formed Partnership LLC

Mike Simmons
Posted

Hello all! I bought my first rental property this year with a partner. We opened an LLC together. My question is pretty basic, but since this will be the first time I'm filing taxes with a business, I was curious if I need two separate filings (one for personal and one for the LLC), or can I file them together?

I have always done my own taxes through Turbo Tax or HR Block since my main employment is just a W2. Is that still going to be relatively simple since I have just one property? or does adding in the renal property business make it complicated enough to hire someone.

Thanks for the help!
