Hello fellow BP folks.

I’m finishing up an extensive four unit remodel and I asked my accountant about which specifics I need for cost segregation she said ‘what is that?’ I then asked how much RE she owns.... you see where this is going.

I need someone who is well versed in CA RE accounting and with S corps as I am an independent contractor in La. Any recommendations?

Please and thank you.

@John Duston what @Yonah Weiss was alluding to is a post I made on LinkedIn yesterday. I spoke about Tax as a practice. I am a CPA and Attorney- and believe I know quite a bit about tax but there are MANY MANY areas that I am unfamiliar with (international tax, sales tax, SALT, Credits and probably many more). I think it is important to understand your needs, and find a practitioner that matches your needs AND knows when to defer to another specialist.
