I am a 39 year old commercial truck owner operator with a B.S. Construction Engineering Management.

My first deal was building the house I live in now in 2011. The project involved replacing an existing mobile home with new home construction and demolition of the old mobile home. First and only deal to date.

Day to day my career in trucking requires an 11-14 hour commitment. I have always had interest and fascination with real estate and construction projects. A great opportunity in trucking came my way in 2013 so I decided to start my own self employed trucking business.

I need help getting through the permit process on my next deal. The plan is to build a new home for my parents on the 82 acres I live on so they can rent their home out and add to their passive income. There used to be an additional mobile home on the property that should allow for an additional homesite.

Convincing the county of this is the challenge. We have some old photos that show an additional mobile home on the property but current records do not indicate this home site exists. Would like some suggestions on what type of professional we could hire to obtain the building permit for the new home. Everyone in my family is tired of fighting the county and would like to farm out the permit process.
