Hey people has anyone dealt with Chicago city violations. I just got recently hit with Chicago city violations with exterior violations like window replacements and owner ID sign missing. I never dealt with Chicago city violations first timer and I am panicking. I don’t know if I need permits to replace my windows?

This is the government showing their power and demanding your money.  Just pay the fine and do what they ask and beg for forgiveness.  You may want to get a good PM that is used to the area b/c it would save you on fines.  The City will find more things against you.  Good luck
