Bank or Brokerage Account
This is about the best place I can find, and here is my question. Once I open my Solo 401k, can anyone recommend a bank or brokerage house to open an account? I have a desire to invest in the stock market, with the ability to write checks and wire funds should an opportunity in RE present itself. Does this unicorn exist?

Who are you opening your accont with? Start there. They should be able to help you
I would say you probably want both-bank account and brokerage account or a hybrid. You could also do just one-dependent on your goals. I would suggest you open up the solo 401k bank account at the bank you have your company business account.
As for a brokerage account open one that will take an “outsourced” plan.
