New to BP and am grinding the real estate game already!

I have so many questions that I can not find answers to so thought joining BP might give me some insight.

I have been in real estate for 6 years now and love the fun of making money.  I am also finding it is producing more income then my company so am looking to make the last push to be done breaking my back.  

I guess my first question is can a Representative from a publicly traded company knowingly lie to advance the company?  

I was under the impression that was not allowed. Any info would be great and thank you!
