Getting and filling out 1099 Forms for wholesalers

Robert Franklin
Posted

Hello Bigger Pockets Members,

My name is Rob Franklin. I am an investor in the Harrisburg, PA area, I am new to real estate. There's a ton of useful information on this site that I thank all for contributing. I have a question on getting and filling out 1099 forms as the wholesaler. I believe the buyer usually has the forms, but to be thorough I would like to have the forms available and become familiar with them. So my questions are -

-What forms do I order from the IRS 1099, W2, W4, 1096?

-If there are examples of ways to fill them out that would be helpful as well?

-Will it cost to get any of these forms, if so, how much?

Thanks in advance.
