Transfer tax deed to another person
I have a sheriffs deed on a property that I bought at a tax sale. There are no restrictions on the deed because the waiting period for previous owner to reclaim the land has expired. How do I transfer the deed to the new owner once he buys it? My husband said to scan the deed in and change the names and other relevant information and go have it signed and motorized? Is that sufficient?
