easement question

N/A N/A
Posted

:crying: I am buying a property adjacent to another which at one time were one. Since these parcels belonged to the same owner, he decided to place the septic for both on the property that I am about to buy. The question is; Am I obligated to continue to have the septic for the other property on my?. And can I after taking title force the owner of the other property to remove the septic system at their expense?. There are no easement papers being signed at settlement nor any mention of the setup.

I appreciate any replies.
PS These are two different septic systems on the same parcel.
