Contractor/Investor permit agreement
Does anyway know of a contract that in can present to my contractor that will prevent me from being liable for permit violations? My contractor knows he needs to pull permits, but I want to be safe work a legally binding agreement/document. Thanks in advance

Most permits require inspections. You can setup a draw schedule using “passing” inspections as the milestone for payment. Right down to the last inspection. If you are concerned you can hire a private inspector. Always have enough money left in the job to fire the contractor and hire a new one.
