Does owner financing show up a credit report?

Might be a dumb question but if it doesn't show up that's an extra advantage, correct? The advantages are that it wouldn't affect your income to credit ratio? as well as perhaps not count as an official mortgage that would not count towards the 10 mortgage limit?

Bill's maybe a little harsh, but he has a point. You're right that the mortgage probably wouldn't show up on a credit report. But on the application, they will ask for your assets and liabilities. You would need to reveal the mortgage, even it is doesn't show up on a credit report.
