I recently purchased a home with FHA 203K Streamline. I feel as my mortgage company just puahed everything through even with the appraisal coming back low. Issue: Home insurance is cancelling because the policy wasn't written correctly (renovation). because of this cancellation no one else wants to give me insurance. My mortgafe company said they will give me theres for 5x the price if I cant obtain my own. why did the underwriter push my loan through without verifying the right policy? is this unethical ? it was part of the binder and escrow. is the underwriter to review everything correctly before approving my loan ? I would like your advice. I'M stuck and no one wants to insure because of cancellation due to renovation .
