Self Directed IRA Creation -- Creating the IRA and the LLC on my own

I am in the process of creating a Self Directed IRA using one of the existing and more prolific Custodians out there. In the same process, I am creating the LLC that will be owned by the IRA.

The one piece that noone is willing to tell me the answer to, is when I get the EIN for the newly created LLC, do I:

a) list the newly created IRA account as the owner and I use their EIN?

Or

b) do I list myself as the "responsible party" and use my SSN?

This sounds trivial, but it is the only piece I have encountered so far that I cannot get any answer to!

I did mine through Guidant Financial, who I would recommend. You definately want some legal guidance on exactly how to do this. They opened an account with a custodian and created an EIN for that. The LLC has its own EIN. The account with the custodian then purchased the units in the LLC.
