Seeking legal advise for REI while on working visa (H1B) in USA.

I am a citizen of India and currently working in the USA on the H1B working visa for the past five years. As far as I know, the condition to invest in Real Estate for H1B is that they can only invest in something that is generating passive income, such as buying and renting a property. Any active involvement in the property, such as rehab or BRRR strategy is generally not allowed for the people on H1b. But I still want to have a legal opinion on this matter to make sure that I know all the options I have to do REI without breaking any immigration rules. Which kind of legal adviser can I contact to have the best chance to get my answers? (in short, an adviser who will have knowledge of immigration rules as well as investment rules).

Thank you in advance.
