Tax Attorney & CPA for Real Estate and Small Business - CA

Hello All,

I am looking for a tax attorney and CPA in the Bay Area. I have started looking into rental properties in IL and Tx and I need help on how to structure these entities. In addtion, my wife owns a graphic design business that is currently registered as an LLC. I want to talk to the same tax attorney to see if she can file as an S-Corp in order to lower her tax liablity. My current CPA doesn't seem to be a good resource for real estate investing nor changing entity status.

If anyone can provide a good lead, I would greatly appreciate it!

Jason Williams Are you only considering local professionals? These days it's very common to work with a CPA remotely. What I've found is that clients value someone who knows the ins and outs of real estate investing more than location.

If that's something you're open to, I would suggest shopping around here; talk to a few of the knowledgeable CPAs on this site. Having a real estate savvy CPA on your team is invaluable!
