Do I need an Attorney

Does it make sense to get an attorney involved when we buy a As is property from the Sheriffs auction or from the auction sites. Won a auction for a condo, It is an As Is condition (owner is currently living so only could see the property from outside, seems to be in a decent shape. The owner seems to be a retiree ), Checked the property liens with the county and seems to be clear without any additional liens. Only mortgage that i see is from the bank that is auctioning out, There were some HOA liens but they were closed by the bank last month. Do i need to involve an attorney in this transaction, any pros and cons for involving an attorney. say your perspective or share your experiences. Thanks and appreciate your reply.
