Looking for Real Estate CPA in Illinois

Hi BP community. This is the first of many posts to the BP forums. Looking forward to learning from everyone and being able to give back to the community. My wife and I started into real estate when we moved into a single family home in 2016 after 10 years in our townhome. We are now renting our townhome and started thinking about real estate more. We have found a great lawyer to help with advice and creation of our LLC to put our rental property into. We received a referral to a CPA of a family member who oversees their successful manufacturing business. We personally liked him and his assistant. We have an opportunity to work with our mentor on a flip and need to come up with 25k for the deal. My wife and I both have traditional IRAs which we hoped to take a distribution from for funding of this deal. This is not the best idea as its not our first home, taxes, fees, etc. per our CPA. I mentioned this to our mentor when she mentioned self directed IRA. Light bulb went off. Why didn’t our CPA mention this avenue. They are strong in their industry but not to creative in real estate. Two questions: 1. Recommendation for real estate cpa in IL 2. Quality company to roll my traditional Ira into a self directed Ira. Thanks in advance

Hello BP community. This is my first post but probably not my last. Just bought my first rental property of hopefully many and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good RE focused CPA in the central Illinois area? Thanks
