Can I write off my camera?
I bought a camera a couple months before my first property that cost about $1k. I used it to rent out my duplex I just got and the camera was a huge help. The previous owner even told me he saw the picture of the kitchen online and said what a nice apartment. It took a minute for him realize it was the apartment he just sold. Any thoughts?

Only the percentage of the usage that's related to business. If you use it 100% for your business, and can show so using a log, then you can write it off.
If you used it 10% for your business for the one time you took photos of the unit and rest of the time for personal use, then you only get to write off 10%.
